I built Planetanium because I wanted to turn my comedy bits into animated videos. Turns out, making video is hard. Making good video is really hard. So I made software to help.

The philosophy is simple: audio first. That’s where your artistic soul lives. The images are just there to give people something to look at while they listen to the important part — you.

This isn’t Hollywood video production. It’s animatics. Motion comics. Images that move just enough to not be boring slideshows. Think graphic novels that breathe.

I originally built this for comedy, but it works for storytelling, podcasts, educational content, audiobooks — anything where your voice is the star and you want visuals that enhance rather than replace your creative spark.

Fair warning: This is alpha software. It has bugs. It will probably eat your project at some point. I’m a perfectionist engineer (surprise — also me), so I’m fixing things constantly. But it’s free, it’s local, and it might just be exactly what you need.
